A grand jury prosecuted one former police officer in the case; no other officers involved were indicted.

grand jury decision in the Breonna Taylor case. Activists throughout the country have actually long required the arrest of the officers who were involved in the March 13 shooting in Louisville, Ky. Taylor, 26, was shot and eliminated in her home when Louisville Metro law enforcement officer were serving a no-knock warrant associated to a narcotics investigation at Taylor’s house.

On Wednesday, a grand jury advised three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment for former officer Brett Hankinson for shooting shots that entered into a neighboring home on the night of Taylor’s death. No other officers who were included were indicted.

Portland Authorities Chief Frank Clark told NEWS CENTER Maine,” We are searching for the organizers of tonight’s demonstration to reach out to us concerning prepare for tonight so that we can help them have a serene demonstration.”
