PORTLAND– On Sept. 24, 2020, Patricia Martin, 72, caring better half, mom and grandmother passed away peacefully after a long disease at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Born on May 11, 1948 to Grace and John McBrady in Portland. She went to primary and intermediate schools in Portland. She moved with her family to Tampa, Fla. when she was a teen where she graduated from Chamberlain High School with high honors. She likewise attended the University of Southern Maine.
After graduation she moved back to Maine where she invested the rest of her life. This is where Patricia satisfied the love of her life and soulmate, Dewey, in 1970 and was wed on June 17, 1972. She and Dewey resided in Portland their whole marriage.
She spent her profession in the insurance coverage market, where she ended up being Vice President of industrial underwriting for Swett and Crawford up until her retirement in 2010.
Patricia had one child and was a devoted and caring mother. She loved her three grandsons. She cherished her time with her family and cooking amazing Italian meals for them. She specifically enjoyed the time she spent with her household at the vacations.
She and Dewey liked to travel, and after her retirement they travelled throughout Europe. She enjoyed to prepare where they would go next.
She is deeply mourned by her spouse of 48 years, Dewey; her child Kristen Martin Levy and her husband Marc Levy of Westbrook; and 3 grand sons, Bryan, Jackson and Daniel.
