Buddies Martin Scanlan, 16, of Aspen, Colorado, Griffin Buckwalter, 16, of Scarborough, and Wyatt Morse, 17, of Auburn, captured a 700-pound bluefin tuna previously this month. The whole battle was recorded on camera. It took the trio seven hours to catch the massive fish. “The important things popped out of the water and I was entirely stunned. It was simply massive,” said Buckwalter, who recorded the entire occasion. “It just blew my mind when it came out of the water and it was simply incredible,” said Scanlan.A seafood circulation company in Portland bought the tuna from the teens for $2,000.
